Duck Newton has been handicapping thoroughbred
horses for over 20 years and has handicapped for several
top web sites. Our goal is to pick winners for our regular
clients on a regular basis.
Why?
Because we can that's why.
There are many, many aspects to being able to pick winners
on a regular basis but fundamentally they are:

Being able to understand the information and know
which horses are coming out of the stronger races.
* know which horses are likely to improve and which
are not.
* Know trainers tendencies and their relationships
with the jockeys, as well as knowing a jockeys tendencies
and strengths.
* Being able to read the form and digest the stats.
* Understanding race flow.
* Breeding.
* Track bias.

Sometimes the horse you like is 2-1..well, what can you
do?..DON'T BET- I don't..not unless I am up a couple hundred
already or I think that he just can't lose barring the
jockey falling off. with all the tracks and races available
I am waiting for the right horse at the right odds. The
real key to winning is knowing when to bet and when not
to bet.
When we give our selections you can rate how much we like
the horse - in relation to it's odds- by how much we wager-
A $1 win bet we like o k - a $10 win bet we like a lot-That's
the scale
on a scale of 1-10 how much we wager- $20 win ..we like
it a lot or it's odds are high enough to take a chance.
With the ability to handicap and wager on races from across
the country and the world..it's not like the old days
where you got 9 or 10 races and did the best you could.
Now you can select from 100s of races and wager your favorite
9.
And with the horses shipping from track to track- surface
to surface..a lot of times bettors are left perplexed
as to how horses stack up against one another.
